The goal of the Coffee County Child Nutrition Program is to serve our students a variety of nutritious and delicious foods everyday for breakfast and lunch. We follow the USDA and State of Alabama Wellness Guidelines.
Meal Applications are available at each school for students who may qualify for free or reduced price breakfast or lunch. Applications should be completed and returned to the school cafeteria. Please list all children living in the same household on one form. Applications are confidentially processed at the Central Office, and meal status is determined in a timely manner.
Please let us know if your child has any food allergies or other special dietary needs. We have a diet prescription form that should be completed by your child's physician. The form should be returned to the school nurse as soon as possible. We must have this form on file in the cafeteria in order to accommodate your child's need. A new diet prescription should be completed every year and any time there are changes to your child's diet during the current school year.
